Our monthly menus are unique in that no meal is served more than once within a 30-day time frame. Here you will find a downloadable version of our monthly menu that is sent monthly in hard copy to each senior on our program.

Did you know?

Our nourishing meals provide an array of nutrients to promote optimal health and provide a minimum of one-third of the daily nutritional requirements for older adults.  Menus are changed seasonally to keep menu offerings fresh and appealing.  No salt is added during preparation and salt-free products are used as much as possible.  All menus are planned by a Registered Dietitian.

 

 

Fall/Winter meals include warm comfort foods such as casseroles, stews, and fruit compotes:

·      Green Chili Chicken Stew

·      King Ranch Casserole

·      Classic Beef Stew

·      Warm Cinnamon Peaches

 

Spring/Summer meals include classic cold plate meals and Summer time fare such as:

·      Chicken and Tuna Salad Sandwiches

·      Chicken Caesar Salad

·      Cheeseburger

·      3 Bean Salad, Macaroni Salad

 

Vegetarian meals are offered several times each month:

·      Cheese Ravioli

·      Bean and Cheese Burrito

·      Vegetable lasagna

·      Cheese Enchilada

· 3 oz Meat/Protein

· 2-3 svgs fruit & vegetables

· 2 servings of grains

· 1 serving of milk

· 600 calories

· 20 grams of protein

· Fat: 30% or less of total calories

· Vitamin A:  250 ug RAE or higher

· Vitamin C:  25 mg

· Sodium: less than 1200 mg

· Potassium 1200 mg or more

· Fiber:  7 g or higher

· Calcium:  400 mg or higher

During this time we continue to deliver meals to clients. At this time, we are not delivering our normal hot meals. Instead, we are delivering a variety of shelf stable items and frozen meals.
