Volunteers are the cornerstone of MOWCC. Our gracious volunteers give freely of their time, talents, and resources to combat hunger and isolation in disabled and older adults while enabling them to remain healthy and independent within their families, homes, and communities.
Volunteer drivers are in the frontlines daily. It is for this reason we call them our Road Warriors. They champion hunger and isolation by delivering nutritious food while providing daily wellness checks, which gives our seniors and their families further peace of mind.
Additionally, volunteers come into our office to assist with meal prep and other supportive needs. No task is too small for our volunteers, as we are all here with the same goal in mind – ensuring no senior goes hungry.
The word volunteer is synonymous with hero, and each volunteer that walks into our office or delivers a hot meal is nothing short of heroic.
