How can I make a donation?

You can donate online using your credit or debit card or you can send a check made payable to Meals on Wheels and mail it to 600 N. Tennessee Street, McKinney, TX 75069.

Are donations tax deductible?

The IRS considers donations of cash, securities, and property as charitable deductions for income tax purposes. All gifts are acknowledged in writing.

How can I honor the memory of someone special?

You can make a gift in memory of a special person by donating online and indicating in whose name the gift is given or you can mail a check to Meals on Wheels at the above address.

What can my congregation or company do to be involved?

Your congregation or company may wish to hold a fundraising event to benefit Meals on Wheels. Some possibilities are:

Take up a collection or a “love offering”
Ask your employer to match employee donations
Designate Collin County Committee on Aging (Meals on Wheels) for automatic payroll deduction

Each year, Meals on Wheels delivers 188,000 hot, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and weekend meals to the elderly of Collin County.

Many Ways to Help

Sponsorships of high-profile events such as the annual golf tournament, raise thousands of dollars of much needed funds for our senior programs. In-kind gifts include offering a gift of your company’s products or services.


Platinum Route $20,000 = 3000 Meals

Covers Sponsorship and underwriting, Route will be named after Sponsor, will receive advertising on agency website, social media postings 2x a month for one year.

Gold Route $10,000 = 1500 Meals

Covering Sponsorship and underwriting, Route will be named after Sponsor, will receive advertising on agency website, social media posting 1x a month for one year.

Silver Route $5,000 = 700 Meals

Covering Sponsorship and underwriting, will receive advertising on agency website, social media 6x a year for one year.

Memory Route $2,500 = 375 Meals

Allows you to name an existing Route after a loved one in their memory.


What do Seniors get? Home Delivered Meals, Daily Well Checks, Congregate Meals at Senior Centers, Senior Safety Net, Pet Food Delivery, and Seasonal Gift Programs.

Adopt a Senior for 1 month = $150

Adopt a Senior for 2 months = $300

Adopt a Senior for 3 months = $600
