Ray Ricchi is currently the McKinney City Councilmember representing District 4 and also Deputy Mayor Pro Tem. He is Chairman of Meals on Wheels, Senior Services of Collin County. His business career includes executive positions with Traxxas,The Ballfields at Craig Ranch, Black & Decker, Master Lock, AlliedSignal and the National Hot Rod Association.

Councilmember Ricchi formerly acted as Chairman of the McKinney Economic Development Corporation. He was a member of the Collin County Regional Airport Technical Advisory Committee. He was the Chairman of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce in 2008 and served on the executive board from 2005 – 2009. He was Sector Chair for Attracting and Building New Businesses and Organizations in 2005 and Sector Chair for Advocacy in 2006. He served on the McKinney ISD Priority One Committee in 2004 and Long Range Planning Committee in 2005. Ricchi was named President of McKinney Little League Baseball in 2006 and 2007. He is currently a board member of the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, honorary board member of the Public Safety Scholarship Foundation, and also serves as Boy Scouts of America, Lone Star District Chairman of Finance. Additionally, he volunteers his time with area organizations such as CASA, Samaritan Inn, Relay for Life, and Smiles Charity.

Councilmember Ricchi has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina in Business Administration, majoring in Economics and Finance. He has been a McKinney resident since 1991 and is the father of three.
