NOTICE FROM CEO:
Meals on Wheels Collin County is dedicated to the safety and well-being of our seniors, volunteers, and staff. MOWCC continues to adhere to COVID19 CDC safety guidelines and social distancing.
In response to the COVID 19 shelter at home April 30th extension, MOWCC will temporarily hold all meal deliveries from April 6th -20th and allow seniors to use their 2 week supply of meals. MOWCC staff will continue serving the needs of seniors and the community remotely with phone follow-up, well check calls, and support.
We are still accepting new clients online and they are free to call. Any monetary and in-kind donations will be accepted electronically or by mail. For drop-off in-kind and monetary donations, we will be available on the 20th-23rd of April from 9 am – 11 pm. If anything changes, we will update you as soon as possible. New volunteers may still register on our website for orientation and we will be in touch once we are back in the office.
Thank you for your commitment and kindness to the Collin County seniors.
May you stay safe and well.

Meals on Wheels Collin County
We are open for business. In the event that our services become interrupted, we will notify the public here in this article. Please check CDC’s guidelines for dealing with this COVID-19 crisis.
Meals on Wheels serves an incredibly vulnerable population and is often the primary lifeline delivering so much more than just a meal, especially in uncertain times. Across the country, local programs are monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation, taking precautions to protect these high-risk individuals, and preparing for increased demand and new ways of delivering services. We know the critical importance of preparation in times like this and understand the delicate balance between panic and preparedness.
Precautions we are taking to keep our population safe are: Washing hands regularly, placing bagged meals on doorknobs, and social distancing (maintaining a distance of 6 ft)
We will be supplying shelf stable meals for the population in the event that we may close. The community is coming together to provide those items.
We need your support to keep our seniors safe and healthy, so please consider donating the items below:
